Welcome to Black Mountain Honey, where our no-nonsense approach to bee nucs for sale extends beyond merely providing bees. We specialise in offering calm, gentle and prolific nucs of bees backed up by exceptional customer service. Our bees for sale are specifically bred to ensure they remain calm on the combs and produce a bumper crop of delicious honey. Our primary goal is centred around cultivating the calmest and gentlest bees possible. We achieve this by breeding our UK mated queens using Pure Buckfast genetics, which are known for their superior genetics and traits, and we fall back on over 30 years of bee farming experience within our operation. The bee nucs for sale are placed into the brand new poly nucs in the summer and the bees overwinter in these boxes, before being sent in the Spring so they are always less than 12 months old upon delivery (2025 onwards). This ensures that your bee nucs for sale arrive in optimal condition and are ready to thrive in their new environment. Our bees for sale are bred from Pure Buckfast breeder queens, which means the F1 daughters are always calm, placid and prolific.     I can't recommend Black Mountain Honey highly enough. You not only get a super healthy nuc with brand new frames (which is unusual), but access to Laurence's wealth of experience.     I was unable to accept delivery of my nuc on the scheduled date and had to change delivery at fairly short notice . Laurence could not have been more helpful in setting up a new delivery date for me. The customer service at Black Mountain is second to none as is the after sales support. The instructions for setting up the Nuc were detailed and easy to follow , and the bees were wonderfully calm to handle .     BMH does is fantastic. Lots of advice to back up the excellent quality nucs they provide. Well worth subscribing to the youtube channel also as this is full of useful information. After 24 hours from receiving the nuc in the post I transferred to their final home and within less than an hour bees are returning with lots of pollen. It has to be said that my bees are the best looking and best behaved in the world but I guess every bee parent thinks the same. It's only true though when they are BMH bees ;-)

    We only let the nucleus colonies leave us once they are a strong unit of bees. Our bees for sale, will have at least 3-4 frames of brood in all stages and at least 2 frames of stores. We will notify you of delivery one week before colony availability and send tracking details for your colony of bees as it passes through the post.
