Welsh Hot Fire Honey
Welsh Honey. Welsh Chillies. Welsh Vinegar. That’s it. No artificial preservatives, no shortcuts, no cheap fillers. Just a proper hot honey that bites back, made entirely from ingredients sourced here in Wales.
Most hot honeys are chilli extract stirred into cheap honey, bottled nicely. Ours is made with three proper Welsh ingredients, and you can taste the difference the moment you open the bottle.
- Real heat with real character. Scotch bonnet chillies bring the fire, but the honey keeps it balanced
- That essential tang. Welsh cider apple vinegar gives it the depth that makes it genuinely addictive
- Endlessly versatile. Drizzle on pizza, pour over a cheeseboard, slather on ribs, or just dunk your chips
What makes this honey special?
Hot honey has become popular, and there’s a lot of it about. Most of it is fine. Some of it is genuinely good. A fair bit of it is just chilli extract in cheap honey.
Ours uses three simple Welsh ingredients, and that matters:
- Welsh wildflower honey, the base. Not processed, not blended from cheap alternatives. Actual Welsh honey, with the character that comes from real bees foraging across real Welsh countryside
- Scotch bonnet chillies, grown in Wales. Proper heat from a proper chilli. Scotch bonnets are fruity and complex, not just hot. That’s what gives Hot Fire Honey its character, not just its kick
- Welsh cider apple vinegar, the ingredient most people don’t expect. It gives the honey its tang and stops it tasting one-dimensional
You can taste everything. It’s not subtle, but it is balanced.
That is so good. That lovely sweet chilli drizzle just gives it the perfect bang. Really, really good!

Amazing with Cheese!
