Heather honey is unlike any other. Made from the nectar of wild ling heather (Calluna vulgaris) growing across the hills and moorlands of the UK.

What makes this honey special?
Heather honey has a character that sets it apart from every other variety. It’s darker, richer, and more intensely flavoured, with a floral, almost herbal depth that reflects the wild landscape it comes from.
Our Welsh Ling Heather Honey is:
- Single-origin. Made from the nectar of ling heather growing across the moorlands and hillsides in the UK, nowhere else
- Raw. Never heat-treated, so the natural enzymes, aromatic compounds, and flavour are fully preserved
- Genuinely seasonal. Ling heather has a short bloom window in late summer, which means availability is limited and every batch is produced in small quantities
- Fully traceable. Every jar is traceable to UK-based beekeepers. We know who produced it and where
Ling heather blooms for a short window in late summer, and bees have to work hard to collect enough nectar to fill a jar. That scarcity is part of what makes it special, and why it costs a little more than our other honeys. Every jar we sell comes from UK beekeepers we know and trust.
