We recommend using a double brood system on your UK Flow Hive to help limit the amount of work required in the swarming season. F1 Buckfast Queens
All our nucleus colonies are headed by an open mated, F1 Buckfast queen. They are gentle in nature with a low swarm tendency and are capable of gathering a substantial honey crop. Our mated buckfast queens are marked for the season and arrive already in the nucleus colony. You do not need to introduce the queens once you receive your nucleus colony.
