Where has summer gone?

Summer is well and truly over and the long winter ahead starts here.


The bees are looking in very good condition although some are a little light on stores.


I love the change of seasons and always find it difficult to imagine the vibrancy of Spring and Summer when we are in the colder months of the year.


Here is a throwback to a picture I took in a private walled Garden in June. It was a perfect summers day, with calm, mild breeze. It really was perfect!
